Antler Continental Europe Amsterdam 2026: Funding and How to Apply
Founders building from the Netherlands can apply for the Antler Continental Europe Amsterdam 2026 opportunity, delivered through Antler ONE’s combined European residency.
Amsterdam does not currently operate as a completely separate 2026 cohort. Instead, Antler ONE brings approximately 100 selected founders from across Europe into one residency centred in Berlin, with local launch pads in Amsterdam and Munich.
The next published Continental Europe intake starts on 14 September 2026. Antler identifies this as a cohort start date rather than an application deadline and encourages founders to apply early.
How Does the Amsterdam Residency Work?
Amsterdam-based founders begin as part of the wider Continental Europe community.
Complete teams typically participate for around six weeks. Those based in Amsterdam or Munich normally spend the first two weeks building physically alongside the wider cohort in Berlin before continuing from the local Amsterdam launch pad.
Solo founders and incomplete teams may participate for approximately ten weeks, using the early stage of the residency for co-founder matching, idea development and team formation.
The published timelines are directional. Antler may invest earlier where a team is making exceptional progress.
Who Can Apply?
Antler ONE accepts complete founding teams, incomplete teams and individual founders seeking co-founders.
Applicants may arrive with an existing product and early traction, or they may still be deciding what to build. Antler places greater emphasis on the founder’s potential and rate of progress than on whether the startup has reached one fixed stage.
The programme is highly selective. Antler says approximately 2% of applicants are invited to the Continental Europe residency, with around 100 founders chosen from a much larger European applicant pool.
The firm looks for four core qualities:
- Drive: urgency, ownership and personal ambition;
- Grit: the ability to continue through difficult periods;
- Spike: an exceptional technical, commercial or leadership strength;
- Commitment: willingness to build full-time without treating the startup as a side project.
How Much Does Antler ONE Invest?
Antler ONE may commit up to €500,000 at inception.
The published structure provides:
- €100,000 converting into 8.5% ownership before the startup’s next equity round;
- €100,000 through an uncapped convertible note with most-favoured-nation terms;
- Up to €300,000 through Antler’s Agreement for Rolling Capital, invested in a qualifying external round within nine months.
Antler says the combined structure typically converts into approximately 10% ownership at a €5 million valuation, although the final result depends on the company’s next fundraising terms.
Applicants should obtain independent legal and financial advice before accepting the investment.
Antler also states that it can invest up to €30 million per company through later rounds and provides access to more than €4 million in potential software, cloud, artificial-intelligence and infrastructure benefits.
What Founders Receive in Amsterdam
Amsterdam participants receive local office access after the initial Berlin phase, one-to-one support, investor introductions and access to Antler’s international network.
The residency is not structured as a traditional classroom-based startup course. Founders spend most of their time building, speaking to customers, testing products and improving the business.
Antler evaluates companies after working closely with the founders. Investment decisions consider execution speed, founder–idea fit, team quality, scalability and whether the business has a credible path towards becoming a category-leading company.
How to Apply
Applicants use Antler’s general residency form and select Continental Europe (Amsterdam/Berlin/Munich).
The initial application asks for personal details, preferred residency and professional background. Shortlisted founders then meet the investment team and general partners.
Applicants must have the legal right to enter and remain in the relevant country. Antler does not obtain visas for founders, so immigration requirements should be reviewed before committing to the programme.
